Flying Stars Update – August 2018

posted in: Blog, Flying Stars | 0

8th August 2018 – 7th September 2018

The Flying Stars chart below shows 9 fields, each containing two numbers. The number on the upper left represents the annual star (red = afflictive, blue = auspicious) and the black number in the bottom right represents the current monthly star. These are the numbers (stars) that change every month and create new energy patterns in your home and office.

To apply these monthly Flying Stars successfully, you need to map out the compass sectors in your home or office. If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, I recommend to take two compass readings: one from your main door, looking out, and another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window. These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home.

Please take particular note of the location of your front door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most.

Feng Shui Focus Flying Stars August 2018

SOUTHEAST (8/7)

The No 7 Star brings danger of violence, theft and break-ins to the SE this month. If your main entrance door is located here, place a pair of Blue Rhinos or a pair of Fu Dogs as door guardians to protect your home. Keep your valuables securely locked in a safe and keep an eye on your finances to avoid losing money. You can minimize losses by donating some money to charity.

Inside your home, install a yang water feature (but not in a bedroom) or place an Anti-Burglary lumi tile in your SE to counter the violent energy.

Wealth luck is still good in the SE thanks to the annual No 8 Wealth Star. Have you got your wealth enhancers in place?

SOUTH (4/3)

The aggressive No 3 Star causes lots of arguments and tension this month, possibly even a romantic scandal. The excessive wood energy brings serious emotional stress, which is caused by relationship problems and aggression. Cure with a Bejewelled Red Fu Dog or, if this is your dining room, display a bowl of red apples to help keep the peace.

The positive energy from the annual No 4 Star is helpful for students and writers, bringing success in academic and literary endeavours. Students should spend time in the SOUTH of their home if they can.

To boost examination luck, place a 7 Level Pagoda or a Crystal Globe in your SOUTH.

SOUTHWEST (6/5)

Please take care in your SW this month as the Five Yellow brings misfortune and possible illness, particularly to the matriarchs. Display a 5 Element Pagoda for protection and hang a 6 Rod Metal Windchime to counter the negative energy and boost your heaven luck at the same time.

Be careful what you eat, as food poisoning and other stomach problems are possible.

The month of August is not a good time for high-risk investments.

Anxiety can lead to disagreements, causing mental stress or breakdowns. Place a figure or an image of Kuan Kung for protection.

Residents of the SW benefit from heaven luck, but this may be on hold this month.

EAST (7/6)

The luck of the EAST is greatly improved thanks to the auspicious Heaven Star this month. This particularly benefits those with bedrooms in the EAST, the eldest son and those born in the Year of the Rabbit. However, if you find yourself in a competitive situation, it would be wise to make your move early, to surprise the competition.

If your office is located in the EAST, place a tortoise behind you to bring strong support from your superiors and other important persons. Display your secret friend and/or astrological allies on your desk to gain support from your friends and colleagues.

There is excessive metal element though, which can lead to conflict and violence. Keep knives and sharp objects safely away from this sector.

CENTRE (9/8)

Wealth and prosperity luck moves into the Centre this month, bringing good news, good money luck, happy occasions and reasons to celebrate. All family members will benefit from this, especially if your home has a large, open-plan centre area. Activate this wonderful luck with a Bejewelled Musical Wealth Tree or a Wealth Bowl.

Business and money luck are also good, but be aware of clashes with the older generation. Yin water is a good cure to balance the energies.

WEST (2/1)

The WEST is another area with improved luck as the monthly Victory Star flies in, helping you with career advancement and literary luck. Place a Wind Horse to boost career luck, or a figure of Luo Han if you would like to boost study luck.

Make sure you keep a Garuda Wu Lou in your WEST to protect your health from the annual No 2 Illness Star. Watch what you eat and avoid unhealthy habits. Wearing a Medicine Buddha pendant will also help to protect you from illness and accidents, especially those with bedrooms in the WEST and those born in the Year of the Rooster.

NORTHEAST (3/2)

The 3/2 combination is never a good sign. It can cause serious trouble in your personal and business relationships. Use a Red Apple with Peace Symbol and a Garuda Wu Lou to counter the negative energy. Those with bedrooms in the NE should carry a Peace & Harmony amulet this month.

Marriages and close relationships will suffer from the conflict energy. Display a Mystic Knot or carry a Mystic Knot amulet to maintain harmony.

Those involved in politics might also have a rough time.

Display a golden Laughing Buddha in a Red Robe to bring peaceful vibes and keep the bad stars under control.

NORTH (5/4)

The luck in the NORTH is slightly improved by the monthly No 4 Star, which has a positive effect in the areas of love and study. This can be enhanced with a 7 Level Pagoda or a Crystal Globe. Students and authors who are staying in the NORTH will find this a much better month with regard to creativity, productivity, and opportunities to do well.

Money and business luck will improve too and can be further enhanced with a Wealth Treasure Chest.

Young couples with bedrooms in the NORTH will see their romance blossom.

NORTHWEST (1/9)

The stars form a very auspicious sum of ten in the NW this month, which is excellent news for the patriarchs and those born in the Years of the Dog and Boar. The positive energy brings fabulous career and money luck. Display a Fu Dog with Treasure Chest to enhance the good fortune.

Avoid stress and late night dinners, as that will be bad for your health.
