Flying Stars Update – August 2021

8th August – 7th September 2021

There is more good luck in the Centre this month, as the monthly No 8 Wealth Star joins the No 6 Heaven Star. When activated, everyone will be able to tap into this new wealth luck and homes with an open-plan design will benefit particularly. Spend more time in your Centre area this August and keep this space active, vibrant and brightly lit.

More good luck comes to the EAST too, which benefits from the Sum of Ten, as well as the WEST, where new opportunities will come knocking on your door.

The secondary directions NW, SW, NE and SE are afflicted by negative stars, so please keep these areas quiet and check that you have all the appropriate cures in place.

The Flying Stars chart below shows nine fields, each containing two numbers. The bigger number on the upper left represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the slightly smaller number in the bottom right represents the current monthly star. These smaller numbers change every month and therefore create new energy patterns in your home and office.

To apply these monthly stars successfully, you need to map out the compass sectors in your home or office. If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, I recommend you take two compass readings as follows:

  • one compass reading from your main door, looking out, and
  • another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window

Please take particular note of the location of your main entrance door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. Obviously, for those of you who continue to work from home, the location of your home office/home work station is also important.

SOUTHEAST (5/7)

The SE is a very dangerous place this month as the No 7 Robbery and Loss Star flies in and joins the annual Misfortune Star. This spells danger for investments and other money matters.  Those staying in the SE need to close their positions, avoid risky speculations and refrain from gambling.

One way of neutralizing the bad luck of this sector is by donating some money or doing charity work.

Display an Anti-Burglary Lumi Tile or an Anti-Burglary Plaque with Door Guardians in your SE to cure the bad energy. Those with bedrooms or office in the SE or born in the Years of the Dragon or Snake should also carry the Bat Lock Coin to safeguard their wealth.

It is important to keep the SE quiet this month.

SOUTH (1/3)

The SOUTH is another afflicted area this month seeing the quarrelsome No 3 Star flying in. If your main door, bedroom, study or home office is located here you may find yourself over-sensitive, argumentative, or simply saying the wrong thing, causing your relationships to become strained. Family members will argue and at worst, occupants of the SOUTH might even get involved in stressful legal problems.

Fire element is the cure. Add red décor items to your SOUTH this month, eg a red rug or a large red vase. If this is your dining room, use red table decorations. Hanging a Red Facetted Crystal or placing a pair of Red Peace & Harmony Apples will also help to keep everyone calm. Those born in the Year of the Horse or with bedrooms in the SOUTH can also carry an Anti-Conflict Amulet with Dragon Holding a Fireball.

Keep the area quiet and take down any windchimes you might have hanging here.

SOUTHWEST (3/5)

Another badly afflicted sector is the SW, the sector connected to the Matriarch, where the Misfortune Star brings danger for all mothers as well as those born in the Years of the Sheep and Monkey. Make sure you subdue this affliction, as the earth element of the SW will make the No 5 Star even stronger. Be prepared for arguments, financial shortcomings, obstacles and general bad luck, which could even get so bad that you may find yourself in legal trouble for not repaying your financial obligations in time. Money troubles can also strain your relationships.

The best cure is the 5 Element Pagoda with Tree of Life placed in the SW this month, as this has the power to transform the negative energy into positive growth energy.

Those staying in the SW should also carry a 5 Element Pagoda Amulet or the mini version of the 5 Element Pagoda when they are out and about. The same applies to the Matriarchs, Sheep and Monkey.

EAST (4/6)

The No 6 Heaven Star greatly increases the luck in the EAST, not just because it brings luck from heaven in the form of recognition and unexpected financial windfalls, also because it forms the “Sum of Ten” with the annual No 4 Star! Those of you who spend a lot of time in the EAST can look forward to a boost in their career. In addition, the “Sum of Ten” brings completion luck, which means you will be able to finish your current projects successfully.

To take advantage of this wonderful energy, carry a Sum of Ten Amulet or place it in your EAST this month.

Use this space often so the positive energy is activated by your presence. Play music, switch on the lights and keep the EAST active.

CENTRE (6/8)

This is the luckiest area of your home this month, as the No 8 Wealth Star flies in. Spend as much time here as possible if you want to soak up the good energy. Homes with an open-plan design will benefit even more as the positive Chi can easily spread to the rest of the house.

Switch on the lights in this sector or install a bright lamp to activate the wealth luck.

Awaken the heaven energy of the annual No 6 Star with a Celestial Water Dragon to invite new opportunities into your life or strengthen the earth energy of the No 8 Star with a Magic Golden Earth Dragon to invite wealth. Having a wealth bowl or a wealth vase in the Centre would also be excellent, especially if you add a gold coin every day to symbolize your wealth growing and accumulating.

If you are still working from home and don’t go out much, place your wealth amulets in your Centre space while you are at home. The Dakini Wealth Pi Yao Amulet is one of the new wealth enhancers for this year.

WEST (8/1)

The luck in the WEST just keeps getting better and better. With the No 1 Victory Star moving in this month, those with bedroom or office here and those born in the Year of the Rooster will see new opportunities coming their way. This is another place you want to spend your time in and keep brightly lit and active. The 8/1 combination of stars promises increased cash flow, new sources of income and new avenues to be explored.

If you are in business and want to invite these opportunities, display a Bejewelled Flying Windhorse or a Windhorse Lumi Tile in your WEST (or in the WEST of your office). A Flag of Victory Amulet will also be useful.

However, the elements of the two stars clash, causing a bit of conflict. This can be cured with an Element Balancing Medallion or a Hamsa Hand or Buddha Foot Windchime.

NORTHEAST (9/2)

The monthly Illness Star flies into the NE, bringing bad health and illness vibes. Those staying in the NE and those born in the Years of the Ox and Tiger in particular need to look out for their health, as they might fall sick more easily. With new variants of Covid19 spreading rapidly, it would be good for everyone to continue to be extra cautious and make sure to be protected. Looking after your physical and your mental health is very important.

Do suppress the Illness Star by placing a metal Wu Lou in your NE, or a Medicine Buddha and 7 Sugata Gau or a Healing Deer.

Those of you staying in the NE, eg if your bedroom or office is located here, and the Ox and Tigers among you should make sure to continue to carry their health amulets. Which one do you have – Medicine Buddha Amulet for Good Health & Protection, Garuda Wu Lou Health Amulet, Anti-Illness Amulet Card or the Buddha Vairocana Gold Card?

NORTH (2/4)

The luck in the NORTH improves thanks to the No 4 Star, which will enhance productivity, inspiration and creativity.

If this is something you would like to activate, you can display the Luo Han with Qi Lin or the Luo Han with Dragon Tortoise in your NORTH.

Students can make good use of the auspicious energy too by studying in the NORTH (if they can) and placing a Dragon Carp here.

The No 4 Star also brings love and romance and can be enhanced with a love symbol, such as a Double Happiness Tassel, if this is what you want. Having said that, the 4/2 combination could bring problems for those who are already in a relationship. If your bedroom is located here, you can place the Rabbit in the Moon Love Enhancer to protect your marriage/relationship.

Activating the NORTH brings a better social life (which many of us are craving!) but please don’t forget about the Illness Star and make sure you look after your health cures.

NORTHWEST (7/9)

Please be careful in the NW! The monthly No 9 Star multiplies the dangers brought by the No 7 Star, so this is a serious affliction. This can particularly affect the Patriarchs, the fathers/heads of the household, those with bedrooms here and those born in the Years of the Dog or Pig. This combination also brings the danger of fire or illness to homes that face NW and those persons mentioned earlier.

Counter the illness energies with a Healing Deer or the Vairocana Heart Mantra Mini Plaque.

To protect against burglary and money loss, display an Anti-Burglary Plaque or an Anti-Burglary Lumi Tile here. Remember that the No 9 Star will strengthen the annual No 7 so please do not take this lightly.

Those of you who spend a lot of time in the NW should also carry a 28 Hums Protection Wheel Amulet, which protects against all sorts of dangers, or at the very least an Anti-Burglary Amulet.
