7th July 2018 – 7th August 2018

I’m writing this monthly Flying Stars Update for you from Frankfurt Airport, as I am waiting for my flight to London. Home leave is a busy and precious time but I am doing my best to keep you updated with your Feng Shui!

The Flying Stars grid below shows 9 fields, each containing two numbers. The number on the upper left represents the annual star (red = afflictive, blue = auspicious) and the black number in the bottom right represents the current monthly star. To apply these monthly Flying Stars in your home successfully, you need to map out your compass sectors. If you have not done this yet, I recommend to take two compass readings: one from your main door, looking out, and another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window. These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home.

Please take particular note of the location of your front door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most.

Feng Shui Focus July 2018 Flying Stars

This month is a special month, as the monthly Flying Stars double up with the annual Flying Stars. This means, some sectors will be extremely auspicious, seeing that their luck is literally doubled! But unfortunately this also means that the unlucky sectors can be particularly dangerous – please be very aware!

SOUTHEAST (8/8)

The SE is no doubt the luckiest sector this month, enjoying the annual AND the monthly No 8 Wealth Stars! There is serious money and wealth luck for residents of the SE, those with main doors facing SE, and those born in the Years of the Dragon and Snake. The double 8 combination is particularly good for accumulating properties, so if you have been thinking of investing in the property market – July is the time to do so.

Spend as much time as you can in your SE and activate the good luck with wealth symbols, such as a Wealth Ship filled with gold ingots and jewels, a Wealth Tree or a Wealth Bowl.

A water feature would also be excellent in your SE.

SOUTH (4/4)

Love is in the air for those staying in the SOUTH as the No 4 Romance Stars double up here. Those born in the Year of the Horse will benefit especially. You will appear very attractive to the opposite sex, and you will also experience an increased libido and sex drive!

Those of you looking for love can activate this sector with a Dragon & Phoenix figure or a pair of Mandarin Ducks or Love Birds. You can also wear the Double Happiness Symbol as a pendant.

But please be careful if you are placing water here as too much water can lead to a sex scandal involving a third party.

Students can also benefit from the auspicious energy and have the potential to do very well in exams and other academic ventures. To activate study luck for your children, you can place a 7 Level Pagoda or a figure of Luo Han in your SOUTH.

SOUTHWEST (6/6)

This is another very auspicious area, enjoying excellent money luck, monetary gain and unexpected windfall. Those of you with bedrooms and/or main doors in the SW might want to play the lottery this month! Also those born in the Years of the Sheep and Monkey will be surprised by unexpected fortune.

Business success and career progress are also in the stars.

To enhance this fabulous luck, display 6 metal coins or the Three Emperors on Horseback in the SW of your living room or family room. A Wind Horse will also be very helpful.

Spend more time in your SW this month to benefit from this wonderful energy!

EAST (7/7)

The No 7 Star is a violent star, bringing danger of break-ins, robbery, fighting, violence and accidents. The fact that the stars are doubled up this month makes the EAST a very dangerous place!

Those with bedrooms in the EAST are wise to avoid overworking and need to be careful when working with metal objects, as the danger of accidental injury is great. There are also risks of problems with the liver.

The oldest son and those born in the Year of the Rabbit are particularly affected by this affliction.

Display an Anti-Burglary Lumi Tile for protection, or a Rhino and Elephant in Natural Habitat. If your main door is located in the EAST, you can use a pair of Blue Rhinos or Bejewelled Tigers as door guardians flanking your entrance, to protect you from theft and break-ins.

CENTRE (9/9)

There is fame and good news in the Centre area, which will benefit everybody in the household, especially in homes that have an open plan concept, where the positive energy can easily spread into the whole house. The positive chi can also bring new career moves and promotions at work. Romance luck is good and relationships are smooth and harmonious.

Place a pair of Mandarin Ducks or Love Birds in the Centre of your home if you wish to activate for love luck.

You can also display 9 Golden Pears to encourage overall great good fortune to ripen.

But please take care not to over-activate this area with too much fire energy (eg candles, lights) as this could lead to an accident caused by fire.

WEST (2/2)

The Illness Star is strong this month, threatening with serious lung and nose sickness. Pregnant women should avoid this sector and sleep in a different bedroom this month, as there is danger of miscarriage and abdominal problems. Accidents are also possible, causing serious injuries.

Place a Garuda Wu Lou or a Bejewelled Garuda Bird in your WEST to counter the illness energy.

If you spend a lot of time driving in your car, placing 6 Peacock Feathers will help protect you from accidents.

NORTHEAST (3/3)

The quarrelsome energy is strong and this will be a month of arguments and conflict, especially for young children. If your main door is in the NE, or the NE takes up an open-space area, the disagreements could get very serious and lead to major fights.

Keep this area as quiet as possible, avoid loud music or loud TV in this area and take down any windchimes you might have hanging in your NE.

There is also danger of gossip and back-stabbing.

Cure the aggressive chi with fire energy and/or a Red Eagle.

If your main door is located in the NE, a red door mat would be a useful accessory this year, especially this month of July.

NORTH (5/5)

The NORTH is the most dangerous place in your home this month, with the deadly Five Yellow Star doubling up! Especially male members of the family and those born in the Year of the Rat could suffer serious illness or serious accidents.

Place a large Five Element Pagoda to overcome the negative stars. Those with bedrooms in the NORTH and those born in the Year of the Rat should also carry a Five Element Pagoda amulet at all times for protection.

If you spend a lot of time driving, placing some Peacock Feathers in your car will help to keep you safe on the road.

NORTHWEST (1/1)

Double luck shines in the NW this month, with the double No 1 Star bringing good career and income luck. Those working in research and development or learning a new skill will achieve major breakthroughs.

Placing a water feature in your NW will greatly boost your wealth luck. If you wish to boost your career luck, display a Victory Banner or a Wind Horse on your desk and carry a Victory Banner amulet to come out tops in negotiations.

Watch your alcohol intake this month as there is a chance of mishaps caused by excessive drinking. You can hang an all-metal 6-rod windchime to strengthen your defences and control the tendency to give in to your vices.
