Flying Stars Update – May 2021

6th May – 6th June 2021

The monthly Illness Star flies into the Centre and therefore dominates the Flying Stars chart and the energy in May. This means we still need to be very careful. Despite the good progress made in the rollout of the Covid vaccine and many countries being successful in reducing the spread of the virus, there may well be a 4th wave coming or new variants emerging. It has been a very trying time for everyone, but we must not let our guard down and it is wise to continue carrying health amulets.

Having said that, we can also enjoy VERY positive energy in several areas of our homes and offices this month, thanks to FOUR sectors benefitting from the very special Ho Tu luck! Plus, leaders and patriarchs will enjoy completion luck thanks to the “Sum of Ten” in the NW. That means projects can be finished successfully and goals can get accomplished.

The NE is the sector to avoid and keep quiet this month. Strong cures are needed, especially if your main door or bedroom is in the NE.

Please study the chart below. In each of the 9 grids you will see two numbers. These are the so-called “Flying Stars”. The bigger number at the top left represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the slightly smaller number in the bottom right represents the monthly star, which will influence your luck during this current month.

If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, then please use a reliable compass to take the directions. I recommend to take the compass readings as follows:

  • Take one compass reading from your main door, looking out.
  • Take another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window

These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.

Please take particular note of the location of your front door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. Obviously, for those of you who continue to work from home, the location of your home office/home work station is also important.

May 2021 Flying Stars

SOUTHEAST (5/1)

The No 1 Victory Star brings winning and success luck to the SE, which is great news for those having their bedroom or office in the SE and main doors facing SE. Those born in the Years of the Dragon and Snake will also benefit.

There are several ways to take advantage of the No 1 Star this month: Those of you in positions of leadership or management can display a Yellow Ru Yi with Celestial Dragon in the SE to magnify their influence over others. Those of you who play the stock market can display the Asset Wealth Bull or the Winning Chip Talisman instead. Those of you with a general drive for success can display a Windhorse Carrying a Jewel or a Desktop Flag of Victory in the SE or on their desk and/or carry a Flag of Victory Amulet. Overall, work events will progress more smoothly and with less obstacles.

However, the elements of the two stars clash, which may lead to injuries caused by accidents. If you spend a lot of time in the SE, you can wear the Element Balancing Medallion to harmonize the elements. If your office or work desk is in the SE, you can place a plant on your desk (remember that good Feng Shui plants have rounded leaves).

SOUTH (1/6)

The SOUTH is one the luckiest sectors this month. The 1/6 is not only a combination of two very powerful stars, it is also a Ho Tu combination, bringing superior intelligence and improved timing. This is particularly lucky for students and those taking exams, and also benefits those with bedroom or office in the SOUTH. The SOUTH is a very good sector for children this month and those with high aspirations.

You can activate the fabulous luck here by placing the Celestial Water Dragon and carrying the Dragon Heavenly Seal Amulet.

If you would like to activate your career success, display a Dragon Horse instead.

Those staying in the SOUTH should listen to their instincts this month when making decisions, if something does not feel right then don’t do it. Be alert to new opportunities.

SOUTHWEST (3/8)

The monthly Wealth Star brings wealth luck for those staying in the SW as well as the matriarchs and people born in the Years of the Sheep and Monkey.

Displaying the Asset Wealth Bull or the Ox Finding Hidden Wealth will boost your wealth and business luck. Of course you can also use your “regular” wealth enhancers, such as a wealth bowl or a crystal figure 8. Carry your wealth amulets, eg the Dakini Wealth Pi Yao Amulet.

The 3/8 stars are also a Ho Tu combination, bringing success for people in politics and promotion and leadership luck. Spending more time in the SW will improve your interactions with others. You can activate the Ho Tu luck with a Ho Tu Enhancer Amulet or the Ho Tu Enhancing Mirror.

If your main door is located in the SW, activate the good energy by keeping the light on.

Despite the improved luck, the stars also bring the possibility of digestive problems, so be careful of where you eat and what you eat.

EAST (4/9)

We see another Ho Tu combination in the EAST, which is excellent for those running their own business, entrepreneurs, and those involved in commercial ventures. Those with offices in the EAST will notice increased creativity and new ideas will come easily. If you have been lacking motivation, spend more time in the EAST of your home this month. The stars have a high energy frequency and will bring new projects for you to focus on.

To boost the excellent luck here, display a Ho Tu Enhancer Amulet or the Nine Golden Dragons Plaque. In fact, any image of Dragons will be helpful, as the EAST is the home of the celestial Dragon.

If you are running your own business, you can activate your business luck by placing a Ru Yi in the EAST, especially if your office is located here.

The oldest son and those born in the Year of the Rabbit will also benefit from the fabulous energy.

The monthly No 9 Star also enhances the annual No 4 Star, bringing increased love opportunities and academic luck, making the EAST an excellent location for students too.

CENTRE (6/2)

The Illness Star is the dominating star this month and serves as a good reminder that Covid is still very much around. Please be aware of the health risks, especially to the lungs and stomach area, and stay alert and cautious. We must not let down our guard, as the Illness Star affects everyone.

Place the Healing Deer or a pair of Garuda Wu Lou in your Centre area to subdue the illness energy brought by the No 2 Star and continue to carry a health amulet when you are out and about.

The positive energy of the annual No 6 Star remains though and continues to offer great potential for new mentors coming into your life. If you could do with some helpful people around you, display the Celestial Water Dragon or the 8 Immortals Plaque in your Centre and carry a Dragon Heavenly Seal Amulet.

WEST (8/4)

This combination of stars promises career luck, especially for people involved in academic research. It also increases effectiveness in communication and particularly benefits students of all ages.

Students taking exams can display a Dragon Carp in the WEST to boost exam success.

Those of you who are in employment might be given an opportunity to take on more responsibility at work. If you are keen on this, you can activate the WEST with a Windhorse Carrying a Jewel and carry a Flag of Victory amulet.

Despite the positivity of both stars, their elements clash and this brings the danger of injury to young children. Please keep a good eye on your children, especially if their bedroom or playroom is located in the WEST. Displaying 6 Emperor Coins or a 28 Hums Protection Wheel will subdue the bad luck.

NORTHEAST (9/5)

The NE is the most dangerous sector this month as the monthly Misfortune Star is multiplied by the No 9 Star. This is very troublesome for those whose main door is in the NE or facing NE.

It is best to lie low this month and avoid taking risks. Keep the NE quiet, don’t play any music, keep the lights dimmed and avoid it as much as you can. Consider moving into a different bedroom.

Display a 5 Element Pagoda to counter the No 5 Star and those born in the Years of the Ox and Tiger ought to carry a 5 Element Pagoda Amulet for protection.

In addition, hang a Happy Laughing Buddha in your NE to bring positive energy and lighten the mood, especially when things get tough.

NORTH (2/7)

The No 7 Star flies into the NORTH this month, bringing danger of burglary, robbery and financial losses. It also brings the risk of betrayal. Those of you born in the Year of the Rat or with office or bedroom in the NORTH please be especially careful!

For protection, you can wear the “Bhrum” Pendant or carry an Anti-Burglary Amulet and display the 28 Hums Protection Wheel here.

But there is also some positivity here! The 2/7 stars are another Ho Tu combination, one that brings big wealth luck, positive surprises and great new opportunities! This is a chance to activate your wealth luck in a year where wealth luck in general is very sparse so do display one or two wealth activators here this month. In addition, place a Dragon Tortoise to bring you the support you need when the new opportunities come knocking on your door.

NORTHWEST (7/3)

The No 3 Star brings problems to an already afflicted NW, yet there is also a positive side this month thanks to the stars forming the most auspicious “Sum of Ten”! This indicates successful completion of projects or tasks and positive outcomes to all your endeavours.

Patriarchs, leaders, and those with bedroom or office in the NW definitely want to carry a Sum of Ten Amulet this month to boost their good fortune and help them achieve their goals. This also applies to those born in the Years of the Dog and Boar.

But be aware of the quarrelsome star, which causes trouble and aggression, continued opposition, major conflicts. Those in positions of leadership are recommended to watch their flanks and carry an Anti-Betrayal Amulet with Kuan Kung for protection. In addition, place a pair of Peace & Harmony Apples in your NW and switch on the light for at least three hours every evening to calm the aggression.

You don’t want too much noise and activity here; remove windchimes and water features from the NW for this month.
