Flying Stars Update – November 2018

7th November – 6th December 2018

In each of the 9 grids below you will see two numbers. The number on the upper left represents the annual star (red = afflictive, blue = auspicious – these should have been taken care of at the beginning of the year) and the black number in the bottom right represents the monthly star, which will influence your luck during this current month.

If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, then please use a reliable compass to take the directions. I recommend to take one compass reading from your main door, looking out, and another one from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window. These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.

Please take particular note of the location of your front door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most.

SOUTHEAST (8/4)

The lucky stars in the SE promise prosperity and success for those with main doors and bedrooms in the SE. Businessmen and sales staff will be able to negotiate well, closing successful deals to their advantage. Chances are that incomes will increase.

Place a Bejewelled 108 Lime Tree in your SE sector to enhance financial luck.

Academics and authors will be successful in their literary endeavours. A figure of Luo Han with Qi Lin placed on your work desk will further aid your success.

Young children should be kept away from the SE however, as the chi is too strong for them and might make them ill.

SOUTH (4/9)

The SOUTH is another extremely auspicious place for students and writers this month, especially if they are preparing for exams. Place a Luo Han in the SOUTH to boost your wonderful exam luck.

The 4/9 is a Ho Tu combination, which brings romance and family luck. Couples with bedrooms in the SOUTH will find it easy to conceive this month. If you wish to strengthen those loving feelings in your marriage/partnership, then place a pair of Mandarin Ducks in your living room.

For success in your career place a Monkey sitting on Elephant on your desk or in the SOUTH sector of your home.

SOUTHWEST (6/2)

The monthly Illness Star can cause stomach problems, which will particularly affect the matriarchs and those born in the Years of the Sheep and Monkey. Place a Garuda Wu Lou in the SW to protect your health.

On the positive side, those staying in the SW could experience some promising developments on the career front. There is a good chance of speculative luck too. To enhance, place a Three-legged Toad Pulling Coins under a table here, or display the God of Wealth Sitting on a Tiger to enhance the chances of profitable opportunities coming your way.

Use this time to make bold moves in your job and don’t hold back when you have an opportunity to display your strengths at work.

EAST (7/3)

Those staying in the EAST need to control their temper this month as they will be easily aggravated by others and could find themselves in violent situations. Display a Pair of Bejewelled Red Tzi Chi Kau here to counter the aggressive energy.

If your main door or bedroom is located in the EAST, it is advisable to carry a Peace and Harmony amulet to smooth your relationships with others.

Please be aware, as you could also become a victim of pickpockets. Wearing a Hum Pendant or an Anti-Burglary amulet will help to protect you.

There is also danger of liver problems; watch your diet and do more exercise to stay healthy.

CENTRE (9/5)

The monthly Misfortune Star flies into the Centre, bringing great danger and misfortune. This can be in the form of money loss, serious illness, bad accidents or other disasters. This is not to be taken lightly because the annual No 9 Star strengthens the monthly Misfortune Star!

Please take good care of your health, as stress levels, including mental stress, and blood pressures might rise.

Placing a 5 Element Pagoda in your Centre this month is essential to counter the negative energy. If you feel you get too tense, take a bath or read a book! Anything that relaxes you.

Display a Bejewelled Laughing Buddha in your Centre area to restore harmony and peace. If you have a wall in this area, a picture of a Happy Laughing Buddha is perfect too!

WEST (2/7)

The WEST is a very unfortunate sector this month as the No 7 Star brings danger of burglary, armed robbery or money loss. This particularly affects those with WEST-facing houses, bedrooms in the WEST, and those born in the Year of the Rooster. You must be vigilant at all times and sensitive about your surroundings.

Protect your home with a Pair of Blue Rhinos or Fu Dogs as door guardians or place an Anti-Burglary lumi tile in your WEST sector. Those with bedrooms or main doors here should also carry an Anti-Burglary amulet to keep them safe.

Those staying in the WEST might find they suddenly suffer from respiratory problems. Display a Garuda Wu Lou or a Medicine Buddha plaque to counter the negative chi.

NORTHEAST (3/8)

Luck improves in the NE as the monthly No 8 Prosperity Star flies in, promising wealth and money luck to those staying in the NE as well as those born in the Years of the Ox and Tiger. You can enhance your NE with a Wealth Bowl, a Wealth Tree or a Mountain of Gold to bring good fortune. Large boulders are also beneficial, while a Dragon Horse Stamp will activate the auspicious Ho Tu combination here.

However, pregnant ladies should not stay in the NE as there is danger to the stomach.

Young children, on the other hand, will benefit from the energy here and can spend as much time here as possible.

NORTH (5/1)

Although the No 1 Star is an auspicious star, the combination of water and earth element brings danger of injuries caused by accidents. Therefore, if you wish to enhance victory luck this month, it is better to use symbols, eg the Wind Horse or a Jade Emperor Heaven amulet, instead of water element.

Those of you who travel frequently would benefit from carrying a Peacock Feathers Mirror Fan for protection.

Health luck is also affected, with danger of heart problems developing and sex-related illness.

It is not a good month for those staying in the NORTH to focus on their love life, but career success can be enhanced by placing the Key for Success & Victory in your NORTH (but not in your bedroom).

NORTHWEST (1/6)

This is the most auspicious sector this month and occupants will enjoy great good fortune, money luck and career luck. You can enhance this wonderful luck with the Three Emperors on Horseback.

If you are working on a promotion, place the Monkey Holding a Prosperity Bag on Elephant or a Qui Ren plaque on your desk or in your NW.

There is slight danger of lung problems though. If this is a concern, then wear a Golden Wu Lou for protection.

Heaven luck shines on those staying in the NW this month, offering wonderful romance luck. If you are still looking for Mr or Mrs Right you can display a Pair of Love Birds or the God of Love and Marriage in your NW.
