Flying Stars Update – March 2018

6th March – 4th April 2018

In each of the 9 grids you will see two numbers. The number on the upper left represents the annual star (red = afflictive, blue = auspicious) and the black number in the bottom right represents the monthly star. If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, then please use a reliable compass to take the directions. I recommend to take one compass reading from your main door, looking out, and another one from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window. These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home.

Take particular note of the location of your front door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most.

Feng Shui Flying Stars March

SOUTHEAST (8/3)

The wood element of the monthly No 3 Star blocks the annual Wealth Star AND causes a clash of energies which will lead to disagreements and gossip. Especially those born in the Years of the Dragon and Snake ought to watch what they say in daily conversations as misunderstandings can easily develop out of nothing.

Cure the aggressive energy of the No 3 Star with a Red Tara Lamp and switch it on every day. In addition, place a pair of Bejewelled Red Fu Dogs to subdue the negative energy.

If you wish to enhance the annual Wealth Star, placing a Wealth Bowl, a No 8 figure or a God of Wealth Sitting on a Tiger in your SE will help. Dragons and Snakes will also benefit from carrying a Treasure Chest amulet – not just in March, during the whole year!

SOUTH (4/8)

The SOUTH is a very lucky sector this month with the monthly Prosperity Star bringing financial success and money luck. Those with main doors or bedrooms in the SOUTH will particularly benefit, as well as those born in the Year of the Horse.

Enhance your wealth luck with a Bejewelled Lime Tree placed in the SOUTH of your home or living room. If your living room or dining room is in this area, you could benefit from increased income. Spend as much time here as possible this month.

Anyone studying or in a literary profession will have a smooth and successful month.

Those looking for love are likely to find it. Place a pair of Mandarin Ducks or Love Birds in your SOUTH to activate.

SOUTHWEST (6/1)

Residents of this sector will enjoy wonderful money luck and opportunities to climb the career ladder. Promotions and recognition are on the cards, but you need to take the opportunity as it arises. The SW is the luckiest area of the home this month, which will be wonderful for the matriarchs and those born in the Years of the Sheep and Monkey.

There is victory luck as well as helpful mentors who can provide the support you need. You can boost this fabulous luck with the 3 Emperors on Horseback and/or a statue of Kwan Kung.

If your office is located in the SW, display a Lou Han with Qi Lin on your desk to boost creativity and stimulate your mind for new ideas.

If you would like to give your career a boost, place a Golden Arowana here (can also be a painting) and carry a Magical Wind Horse or a Victory Banner amulet.

If you are currently experiencing problems, a Hum Mirror on your desk will help.

EAST (7/2)

The EAST is seriously troubled this month with the No 2 Illness Star joining the annual Robbery Star, bringing the danger of liver diseases and problems with the limbs. Your eyes also need protection if you stay in the EAST. Wear sunglasses and carry a Garuda Wu Lou amulet when you go out. Anyone with an existing liver condition should NOT sleep in the EAST this month.

Place a Garuda Wu Lou on your bedside table to protect your health and make sure you also have a protection against the No 7 Star in place.

Young men might face office politics as thoughtless colleagues can’t control their tongue. Display a fierce-looking Rooster on your desk to protect yourself against office politicking and back stabbing.

CENTRE (9/4)

The monthly No 4 Star brings romance and study luck to those staying in the Centre. If you are single and looking for love, you will be very attractive to the opposite sex. Enhance with a pair of Mandarin Ducks or Love Birds if you wish.

Students should also stay in the Centre if they can, so they can enjoy the auspicious energy which will help them with studying, great examination luck and increased productivity.

To boost study luck, you can display the Bejewelled Luo Han in your Centre; while a 7-Level Pagoda will help you to pass your exams with flying colours. Students can also carry the new Education amulet.

WEST (2/6)

Good luck is coming to those with main doors or bedrooms in the WEST in the form of unexpected windfalls and/or new opportunities. Boost this wonderful heaven luck with a Wish-Granting Tree placed in the WEST of your home or office.

Remember to keep the annual Illness Star in check with a Garuda Wu Lou.

A Victory Banner or a Hum Syllable placed in your WEST will protect you from negative energy of any kind.

NORTHEAST (3/7)

The two stars add up to an auspicious “Sum of Ten” but troubles are still likely to occur in the NE.

The monthly No 7 Star brings increased danger of theft and loss of any kind, possibly connected with violence and blood.

Use yin (still) water to counter the No 7 Star and calm the clashing energies. Keep this area as quiet as possible, remove windchimes and do not succumb to the aggressive energy, as that will invariably lead you into a fight or argument.

Place a figure of a Happy Laughing Buddha, ideally in a red robe, to transform the bad energy and restore peace and happiness in your home.

NORTH (5/9)

The monthly No 9 Star strengthens the negative energy in the NORTH. It is therefore better to spend as little time here as possible. Children in particular will feel the bad energy and react with irritability and hot tempers.

Move into a different bedroom if you are prone to health issues or already suffering from bad health.

Keep the negative energy under control with a large 5 Element Pagoda or a Buddha Foot windchime. Those born in the Year of the Rat should protect themselves by carrying a 5 Element Pagoda amulet or a Buddha Foot amulet.

Do not leave any open flames unattended as the No 9 Star also brings danger of accidental fire.

Display a Laughing Buddha with gold ingots (can be a figure or a picture) to boost your prosperity luck.

NORTHWEST (1/5)

The luck of the NW is dampened by the monthly Five Yellow, bringing misfortune and bad luck as well as health problems related to the lungs. The patriarch and those born in the Years of the Dog and Boar are particularly affected.

Use a 5 Element Pagoda to keep the Five Yellow under control. Move to another bedroom if possible.

If your main door is located in the NW, place a large metal Wu Lou on either side and use another door if possible. A Longevity God or the Medicine Buddha will further help to improve your health luck.

Cashflow problems are also possible this month. Be prepared and place a God of Wealth in your NW to boost your wealth luck.

Keep this area as quiet as possible and do NOT renovate here this month.
