The No 4 Star flies into the CENTRE and brings creativity, innovative ideas and new opportunities for everyone. Relationships also get a boost, as the No 4 Star is also the Peach Blossom Star. So this is a very positive influence this month!
The most auspicious sectors are the NORTH and SW, with two positive stars each, promising great wealth luck in the NORTH and completion luck in the SW. Spend more time here, turn the lights on and fill the place with activity.
On the other hand, great care is need in the SE, EAST, NE and NW, as these are home to the Conflict, Illness, Loss and Misfortune Stars respectively. Please be extra careful if you spend a lot of time in one of these spaces or if your main door faces one of these directions. In these cases, carrying protective amulets is highly recommended.
The Flying Stars chart below shows nine fields, each containing two numbers. The big number on the left of each field represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the smaller number on the right represents the current monthly star. These smaller numbers change every month and therefore create new energy patterns in your home and office.
If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, then please use a reliable compass to take the directions. I recommend taking the compass readings as follows:

Take one compass reading from your main door, looking out.

Take another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window.
These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.
Please take particular note of the location of your main entrance and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. For those of you who work from home, the location of your home office/work station at home is obviously also important.
SOUTHEAST (2/3)
There is conflict and tension in the SE this month due to the No 3 Star flying in. This will cause quarrels, disagreements and possibly even lawsuits. If you live in a SE-facing house or sleep in a SE bedroom, you might find yourself more irritable than usual, which can easily escalate to family arguments. Relationships at work might also become more tense.
To calm the energy, you can display the 3 Harmony Animals or a pair of Harmony Apples in this space. A Happy Laughing Buddha will also help to spread peaceful vibes. Please be careful with red accessories here. Although they would be good to counter the quarrelsome No 3 Star, they would strengthen the annual Illness Star at the same time!
As a precaution, you can carry a Four Friends Bag Charm or a Harmony Apple Amulet with Ladybug & Dragonfly. Men can opt for a red tie.
Couples with bedroom in the SE should display a Marriage Lock or a Padlock of Love Amulet on their bedside tables to keep their loving bond strong.
SOUTH (7/8)
Wealth luck improves the energy in the SOUTH this month thanks to the No 8 Star.
To activate, you can display a wealth tree or a wealth bowl in your SOUTH (but not in a bedroom) and carry a Sacred Resource Cow Wealth Amulet.
If you are in business, you can place a figure of Luo Han with Crab for Good Strategy & Business Luck or a Dragon Tortoise in the SOUTH of your office.
However, now that we are in Period 9, the No 8 Star also carries a risk of bringing illness, so I suggest you place an metal Wu Lou here as a precaution.
SOUTHWEST (9/1)
The SW is one of the luckiest sectors this month, bringing fabulous success and completion luck. This is excellent news for matriarchs and fempreneurs as well as people born in the Years of the Sheep or Monkey, but ANYONE who has big goals or finds him/herself in a competitive situation can tap into this magnificent energy!
To bring victory your way, you can display a Prosperity Flag with Dragon or a Completion Horse in your SW (but not in a bedroom). In addition, you can carry a Period 9 Wind Horse Amulet to further boost your success luck.
If you (or your children) are studying for exams, you can place the Brush with View of 3 Mountains in the SW.
Spend more time here this month to soak up all the wonderful energy!
EAST (1/2)
The EAST is hit by illness chi this month, causing lethargy, stress, bad health and spiritual disturbances. People who are already suffering from ill health and pregnant ladies should avoid staying here for the time being.
To suppress the No 2 Illness Star, you can display a Medicine Buddha Plaque or a metal Wu Lou here, especially if this is a bedroom.
If you are born in the Year of the Rabbit or health is a concern for you, then I also suggest you carry a Health Amulet Card.
CENTRE (3/4)
The No 4 Star flies into the CENTRE and dominates the chart this month, bringing good progress for everyone. Students will find it easier to study and achieve good grades. Those wishing to boost their career or business will find new ideas coming easily. Love and romance vibes are high too!
To activate study luck, you can display the Scholar with Eagle Mini Plaque in your CENTRE area and carry an Eagle Scholastic Amulet (or keep this near you on your study desk).
To boost your creativity and intellectual powers, you can place a Manjushri Wisdom Stupa instead and carry a Talent Star Activator.

WEST (5/6)

Those of you with bedrooms in the NE ought to protect themselves at work and in business against people with bad intentions towards you. You can display a figure of Kuan Kung on Horseback on your desk. In addition, it would be wise to keep a low profile and be careful with your investments.
Married couples with bedroom in the NE might encounter potential challenges in their relationship. To protect and strengthen your loving bond, you can place a Double Happiness Vase with Lillies or a Padlock of Love Amulet on your bedside tables.
NORTH (8/9)
The NORTH is extremely lucky this month, being home of both, the No 8 and No 9 Prosperity Stars! This doubles your chances of wealth, growth and success! The stars also promise love and happiness.
