Healing Herbs & Longevity Wu Lou
The Wu Lou is one of the oldest symbols of good health and longevity. Also known as the “Gourd of Immortality” it is often carried by Sau, the God of Longevity, and is said to contain the elixir of immortality, hence its immense popularity as a symbol of long life. Many ancient Chinese paintings feature a Wu Lou. It is not only Chinese wisdom that maintains that there is no wealth without health, and when your physical condition and mental state are strong, you can achieve anything and enjoy everything life has to offer. This year’s Wu Lou has been designed in a gorgeous teal colour, featuring flowers and plants with medicinal benefits as well as the Mystic Knot, a well-known symbol of eternity. It will blend in beautifully in your EAST sector, where it is needed in 2023 to subdue the annual Illness Star. [spacer height="20px"]

The Wu Lou has long been used in Feng Shui as a cure against illness and is very popular in the form of a metal Wu Lou. In addition, this gourd shaped symbol has been regarded a symbol of longevity, good health and prosperity for many centuries. Made of Black Obsidian stone, however, the Wu Lou will also protect against negative energy brought by poison arrows or inauspicious directions. Emerald Hill Shophouses
It was probably at my very first visit to Clare Haxby’s studio when I fell in love with this “Emerald Hill Shophouses” print and I am delighted to introduce this print to you now on my website, as the Singapore shophouses continue to be ever so popular. The Peranakan Shophouses of Emerald Hill are one of Singapore's best addresses. Formerly Plantation land, it was wealthy Chinese Peranakan Spice Merchants or Straits Chinese who inhabited these ornate buildings just off Orchard Road. The decorative style was also known as Chinese Baroque. £285.00 GBP Please note that the "BUY PRODUCT" button will take you directly to the Clare Haxby's website where you can purchase the artwork.
