It’s that time of the year again! For Western people it’s Christmas, when you live in Asia it’s Chinese New Year – the biggest holiday of the year. Millions of people will be travelling to be at home with their families for the festivities and people all over Asia are already preparing for Chinese New Year.
This year, Chinese New Year is early and falls on 25th January 2020.
Chinese people will return home for this special occasion if they can, no matter whether they live in the next town or in a different country. Others use the public holidays for a short holiday.
Whatever your reason for travelling during this Chinese New Year period, picking the best travel dates will make your journey easier and smoother. For this reason, I would like to share the best travel dates for the CNY period 2020, taken from the Feng Shui almanac.
