4th February 2024 – 5th March 2024
We are starting the Year of the Dragon with a month of clashing energies. The year will be dominated by quarrelsome energy brought by the No 3 Star, and this month the No 5 Misfortune Star flies into the CENTRE too! This means potential danger for everybody. The 3/5 combination brings conflict, misfortune, accidents and injuries, illness, … you name it. So we all need to be very careful and take our safety very seriously. Avoiding making rash decisions and being patient is also important. The conflict and misfortune energies are very strong unfortunately and need to be remedied.
The NE, NORTH and NW areas are the most auspicious this month, enjoying all the lucky white stars. These are the areas where you want to spend most of your time this month.
The SOUTH enjoys money luck but there is also danger of losses, which means any money you make could be lost easily.
The EAST-WEST axis is the most afflicted, being home to the Quarrelsome, Misfortune and Burglary & Loss Stars respectively. Great caution is required.
The Flying Stars chart below shows nine fields, each containing two numbers. The big number on the left of each field represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the smaller number on the right represents the current monthly star. These smaller numbers change every month and therefore create new energy patterns in your home and office.
If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, then please use a reliable compass to take the directions. I recommend to take the compass readings as follows:
-
Take one compass reading from your main door, looking out.
-
Take another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window.
These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.
Please take particular note of the location of your main entrance and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. For those of you who work from home, the location of your home office/work station at home is obviously also important.
SOUTHEAST (2/4)
The SE enjoys positive vibes this month thanks to the No 4 Star, increasing love and romance, networking and study luck.
The Singles among you can place a pair of Bejewelled Mandarin Ducks in the SE to increase your chances of finding a new love. Married couples who wish to re-kindle their passion, can display the Double Happiness Vase with Lilies instead.
Students will also benefit from the energies; to boost your exam luck, you can place the Scholar with Eagle Mini Plaque in the SE or on your desk and carry the Eagle Scholastic Amulet.
If you want to be noticed at work, you can enhance the power of the No 4 Star with a Lucky Pink Elephant or the “Ping Kor” As You Wish Ru Yi.
The new annual star here is the No 2 Illness Star, which needs to be remedied with an Abundance Wu Lou.
SOUTH (7/9)
There is mixed luck in the SOUTH. While the No 9 Star is extremely lucky, bringing all the good things that the new Wealth Star promises – fame, recognition, new opportunities and wealth – it also multiplies the annual No 7 Star, leading to higher risks of burglary, money loss and being cheated or betrayed. The No 7 Star must be subdued before you activate the good luck of the No 9 Star.
To do this, place the Elephant & Rhino with Ksitigarbha Staff in your SOUTH. If your main door is facing SOUTH, you can also use the Door Guardians with Ksitigarbha Staff Plaque.
Then you can activate the energies of the fabulous No 9 Star with a Great Increasing Wealth Bowl or the Lucky 9 Activator.
If your main door or bedroom is in the SOUTH or you are born in the Year of the Horse, carry the Lucky 9 Charms Amulet to make the most of your good fortune.
SOUTHWEST (9/2)
Illness energy is strong in the SW this month, as the monthly No 2 Illness Star gets magnified by the annual No 9 Star. This can bring possible health issues, spiritual disturbances and drain your energy. It may weaken your resolve, meaning you will be easily influenced by others.
To counter the No 2 Star and its ill energies, display an Abundance Wu Lou or a Pair of Cranes with Peaches and Bamboo in your SW.
Matriarchs, Sheep and Monkey and those of you living in SW-facing houses or SW bedrooms should not take their health for granted. Instead, place the Wu Lou & Peach Bucket of Good Fortune on your bedside table for protection. Carry an Abundance Wu Lou amulet when you are out and about.
Elderly people and anyone who is already suffering from ill health would better sleep in a different bedroom this month.
To tap into the luck of the annual No 9 Star, you can display a 9 Dragon Plaque in Royal Blue in your SW.
EAST (1/3)
Although the EAST enjoys the annual No 1 Victory Star, the monthly No 3 Star can cause all kinds of quarrels and disagreements. People who spend a lot of time in the EAST and those born in the Year of the Rabbit could lose vital support or get embroiled in troublesome arguments.
You must cure this quarrelsome energy with fire element, e.g. a red rug or red accessories and carry a 3 Harmony Animals Amulet or a Padlock of Harmony Amulet.
Keep this space quiet, remove TVs or radios and don’t hold any parties in your EAST room.
Couples with their bedroom in the EAST can place a Marriage Lock on their bedside table or a Padlock of Love Amulet to keep their marriage strong and happy.
CENTRE (3/5)
The monthly No 5 Misfortune Star spreads negative energy and bad luck throughout your home and office from its position in the CENTRE. This will affect EVERYBODY. The No 5 Star is also referred to as “Five Yellow” or “Wu Wang” and the misfortune it brings includes money and relationship problems, obstacles, and illness.
It is important to keep the CENTRE area quiet this month and everybody ought to carry a White Umbrella Goddess Amulet for protection.
Safeguard your wealth and relationships by carrying the Padlocks of Wealth, Love and/or Harmony and strengthen your health luck by displaying the Medicine Buddha Plaque.
Harmony symbols play a vital role this year.
WEST (5/7)
WEST-facing houses are extremely vulnerable to break-ins and burglary and people with WEST bedrooms are at increased risk of getting cheated, betrayed or robbed due to the monthly No 7 Star. (Married) couples might be troubled by dishonesty and infidelity.
You can place the Door Guardians with Ksitigarbha Staff Plaque here to subdue the negative energy.
People with bedrooms in the WEST or born in the Year of the Rooster ought to carry and Elephant & Rhino with Ksitigarbha Staff Amulet.
The Magic Macaw can help protect you from losing money.
Married couples can protect their relationship by placing the “Pink Lilies” Bucket of Good Fortune in the SW of their shared bedroom.
Avoid spending time here if you can.
NORTHEAST (6/8)
The NE is one of the most auspicious sectors this month thanks to the No 8 Wealth Star flying in and joining the annual No 6 Heaven Star. This powerful combination brings great cash flow and increased profits in business. Your relationships will blossom. Make good use of these stars!
To activate, you can place the Azure Dragon with Waves or the Water Wave with Purple Pearl in your NE (but not in a bedroom).
Since the NE is also home of a Big Auspicious Star, displaying the Tai Kat Tai Ley Enhancer will further boost the marvellous energies here. It is an excellent time for people staying in the NE and those born in the Years of the Ox or Tiger to generate new wealth. To help with this, you can carry the Cash Flow Camel Amulet or the Tai Kat Tai Ley Amulet.
NORTH (8/1)
The NORTH is filled with fabulous energy too, as the monthly No 1 Victory Star brings winning luck in competitive situations. It helps those staying in the NORTH make the right decisions and act at the right time. They will earn recognition for their good work, skills or talents. Those in business can look forward to new opportunities. It is a very auspicious part of the home, especially if you are in business or in a leadership position.
To activate, display the Period 9 Wind Horse in your NORTH and carry the new Period 9 Wind Horse Amulet.
The annual No 8 Star should be enhanced for wealth luck too. The Buckets of Gold & Good Fortune will be perfect for that.
NORTHWEST (4/6)
Another most auspicious sector is the NW, as we see the annual No 4 and the monthly No 6 Heaven Star forming the powerful “Sum of Ten”, bringing completion luck. This will be very useful for your current plans and projects! In addition, the No 6 Heaven Star brings recognition, financial windfalls, mentors and new opportunities and removes obstacles.
If you need this kind of luck, spend more time in your NW this month!
To activate the super lucky energies here for completion luck, you can display the Completion Horse.
For great financial windfalls, place the Tai Kat Tai Ley Activator in your NW and carry the Tai Kat Tai Ley Amulet.
If you need helpful people in your life, carry the Nobleman Star Talisman Amulet.
