November is a month of doubles, which means the monthly stars come together with their annual counterparts, creating extremely strong energies. So we will have TWO Illness Stars in the CENTRE, greatly increasing health risks for everyone. Do carry your protective health amulet please! These two Illness Stars are extremely strong and need to be subdued before you do anything else.
The NE, NORTH and NW are also badly afflicted due to the double Misfortune, Loss and Quarrelsome Stars respectively. If your home faces one of these directions, you ought to take additional precautions and protection. Avoid dangerous sports and risky activities, speculative investments and arguments this month.
But it’s not all doom and gloom because the bright side is that the positive sectors are very strong too! The SE-SOUTH-SW corridor is extremely auspicious thanks to the Victory, Heaven and Wealth Stars here. Houses facing SOUTH are truly blessed this month.
In the EAST we see the double No 9 Stars bringing wonderful wealth, prosperity and happiness, and the WEST is home to the double No 4 Stars, bringing love and academic luck.
Although the Patriarch is afflicted by two No 3 Stars and extremely quarrelsome energies, together with the No 8 Star of the SW this forms the “Natural Leader Ho Tu”, meaning married couples can work extremely well together.
The Flying Stars chart below shows nine fields, each containing two numbers. The big number on the left of each field represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the smaller number on the right represents the current monthly star. These smaller numbers change every month and therefore create new energy patterns in your home and office.
To apply these monthly stars successfully, you need to map out the compass sectors in your home or office. If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, I recommend you take two compass readings as follows:
• one compass reading from your main door, looking out, and
• another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window.
These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.
Please take particular note of the location of your main entrance door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. For those of you who work from home, the location of your home office/work station at home is obviously also important.
SOUTHEAST (1/1)
Victory luck is extremely strong in the SE this month, making success much easier to achieve. The double No 1 Stars also attract new opportunities and recognition. So, if you are set to climb the career ladder or increase your business growth, this is the sector you want to activate and spend more time in.
To do so, you can display the 3 Powers Wind Horse to give you that extra push. Those who run their own business or are in high-level corporate positions can display the Dragon Among All Men in the SE of their office to help them make the right decisions and stay ahead of the game.
The No 1 Stars also support students in their studies. If you need a bit of help, you can display the Dragon Carp Stamp in the SE of your study room or bedroom to help boost concentration and sharpen your memory.
SOUTH (6/6)
The SOUTH is another super auspicious sector this month thanks to the two Heaven Stars bringing divine assistance, great mentor luck and wonderful windfall opportunities. Helpful benefactors appear just when you need them, helping you solve your problems and open new doors for you. You will enjoy recognition at your work place and the support of influential people. Keep this area clear of clutter, brightly lit and full of activity.

SOUTHWEST (8/8)
The double 8 will benefit particularly the Matriarchs, people living in SW-facing houses, and those who spend a lot of time in the SW. If this is your dining room, invite friends over for dinner parties, and if it is your living room, spend as much family time here as you can. There will be plenty of opportunities to earn more money or accumulate new assets, but you do need to stay alert and take action at the right time.
To help you with financial growth, you can display wealth enhancers in your SW (but not in a bedroom), e.g. a Wealth Bull, Peach Tree with Magic Monkey, or Choy San Yeh, the God of Wealth, and carry a wealth amulet.

CENTRE (2/2)
October’s heated tempers are calming down but now we are all facing a high risk of illness and injuries due to the two Illness Stars in the CENTRE. These spread exhaustion, stress, sickness and physical injuries to all houses and office buildings. It is best to keep the CENTRE area calm and quiet and refrain from renovations, banging, hacking, or other loud noises and activities.
The best “medicine” is to display a pair of 5 Blessings Wu Lou or a Medicine Buddha Plaque in your CENTRE space and carry a 5 Blessings Wu Lou Amulet for additional protection when you are out and about. This is really important.
Pregnant ladies, elderly family members and people who are already suffering from ill health should avoid this sector as much as possible.

If your main entrance or bedroom is in the WEST, you can also carry a Scholastic Eagle Amulet to further enhance your study luck.

If you are hoping to find a new love, you can enhance the energies with the 9 Tailed Fox on Rose Quartz in the WEST of your house or bedroom.
Married couples can also harness these loving energies by placing a Marriage Lock in the WEST of their home or bedroom or keeping a Padlock of Love close by.
NORTHEAST (5/5)
There is a high risk of misfortune in the NE, which particularly affects those born in the Years of the Ox or Tiger or those with main doors or bedrooms in the NE. Please be very very careful and avoid taking any risks, both physically and financially. Keep this part of your home as quiet as possible; this includes no banging, knocking, drilling or digging.

The No 3 Quarrelsome Stars bring aggression, arguments and the possibility of court cases to the NW. Quarrels between spouses and family members are on the increase, and working with others, especially male leaders, is likely to become more difficult. This is another area to keep quiet this month.
To calm the energies, you can add red accessories to your NW. If this is your dining room, use red table decorations. If this is your living room, add red sofa cushions and/or a red rug. Artwork in bright fire colours is also a great option. Fire element will weaken the wood element of the No 3 Stars.

Those of you who live in NW-facing houses or sleep in NW bedrooms should take extra precaution and wear a Sky Dog Charm Bracelet to help maintain your good relationships and friendships.
