The No 1 Victory Star flies into the CENTRE this month and brings positive transformations. This is just one of the many changes happening this month, as previously positive sectors turn unlucky, and unlucky sectors become lucky. The NW is the only exception, as the annual Misfortune Star gets the company of the No 2 Illness Star this month.
Nonetheless, the Victory Star is the dominant star this September, representing new beginnings and a much luckier time for everybody. New ideas will become reality and new projects tend to go well. Together with the annual No 4 Star, we see new collaborations blossoming and boosting your success. Your networking efforts will pay off!
The EAST, NE and NORTH are lucky areas this month that are well worth activating.
SOUTH and WEST-facing homes on the other hand are the most afflicted, as the SE-SOUTH-SW and SW-WEST-NW corridors suffer from all the negative stars. Please read on for the full monthly update and install your cures in good time!
The Flying Stars chart below shows nine fields, each containing two numbers. The big number on the left of each field represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the smaller number on the right represents the current monthly star. These smaller numbers change every month and therefore create new energy patterns in your home and office.
To apply these monthly stars successfully, you need to map out the compass sectors in your home or office. If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, I recommend you take two compass readings as follows:
- one compass reading from your main door, looking out, and
- another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window.
These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.
Please take particular note of the location of your main entrance door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. For those of you who work from home, the location of your home office/work station at home is obviously also important.
SOUTHEAST (3/9)
The No 9 Multiplying Star joins the No 3 Quarrelsome Star in the SE, adding fuel to the aggression and tension building up here. Even strong friendships and alliances could crumble under this month’s strong conflict energy. Those staying in SE bedrooms or SE-facing homes and people born in the Years of the Dragon or Snake are particularly affected. Whatever happens, remember to stay calm!
Display the Trininty of Apples and a Fire Dragon Holding a Fireball in this sector to suppress the excessive conflict chi. A great alternative would be a red picture, e.g. the “Little Fiery Dragon” by Singapore based artist Louise Hill, or her “Happy Laughing Buddha” art print.
You can also wear a Mystic Knot pendant or 28 Hums amulet to deflect any hostility aimed at you.
Married couples with SE bedrooms are advised to strengthen their love bond with the Happy Marriage Comb or Harmony Lock.
SOUTH (8/5)
There is danger lurking in the SOUTH this month as it becomes the home of the No 5 Misfortune Star. If your main door or bedroom is located here, there is a high risk of cash flow problems, illness and general misfortune hitting you. This is not the place to undertake any renovations, drilling or hacking this month. Instead, keep the area as calm and quiet as possible.
Place an Emerald Pagoda in your SOUTH and carry an Emerald Pagoda with Om Ah Hum amulet when you are out and about, especially if you are born in the Year of the Horse or living in the SOUTH room of your home. In addition, I suggest you place a Wu Lou on your bedside table to protect from illness. A Red Prosperity Elephant will be great on your work desk to protect against conflict and financial problems.
SOUTHWEST (1/7)
The No 7 Robbery & Loss Star flies into the SW, making SW-facing homes particularly vulnerable for robberies and break-ins. Residents could also become victims of pickpockets or con-artists or be cheated by someone they trust.
Display the Royal Elephant & Cosmic Rhino pair here to remedy the negative energy and protect yourself from money loss and betrayal. For smaller SW spaces, the Anti-Burglary lumi tile is very suitable.
At work, you might face fierce competition affecting your career or business. To protect your position, you can place the Magnificent Kwan Kung with 5 Flags on your desk.
For matriarchs and people with bedroom in the SW I suggest they carry a 28 Hums amulet.
EAST (2/8)
The EAST is one of the areas where the energy turns from bad to very lucky! The Wealth Star joins the annual Illness Star, forming the powerful “Sum of Ten”. This brings wonderful completion luck and removes obstacles, helping you to bring your plans to a fruitful conclusion. Spend more time here if you need to get a lot of things done. The No 8 Star also promises great wealth luck, which can boost your income and investment prospects.
To capture the fabulous energy here, you can display a Completion Horse, a Big Money Bull or a Wind Horse lumi tile. You can also carry a Big Money Bull amulet or place this on your desk.
This is a good sector to spend more time in but do not let it get too noisy, as that would aggravate the annual Illness Star. Remember to suppress this with a metal Wu Lou or a Great Magic Tortoise.
CENTRE (4/1)
As mentioned earlier, the No 1 Victory Star brings auspicious energies of success and new beginnings for EVERYONE. This is a great opportunity to get moving on new ideas and pursue your dreams. Those who are most focused and action-oriented will have the best chances!
The No 1 Star belongs to the water element and does therefore get weakened by the earth element of the CENTRE sector. That means it needs to be activated. You can display victory enhancers like a Wind Horse, a Wind Horse lumi tile or a Victory Banner. Everybody will also benefit from carrying a Wind Horse amulet or a Victory Banner amulet.
If you want to boost your career, you can place a Dragon Ru Yi on your work desk.
If you want business success, place the Double Humped Camel in your office.
WEST (6/3)
There is conflict energy in the WEST, bringing misunderstandings and lawsuits, office politics at work and arguments between friends and family members. It is important to keep this sector quiet this month, remove any windchimes you might have hung here, and avoid spending too much time in your WEST area.
You need to add some fire element to subdue the hostile energies. A red rug would be a good idea, a red picture, e.g. the “Chinatown” print by Clare Haxby, or of course one of the Feng Shui cures.
In addition, people living in WEST-facing homes or WEST bedrooms and those of you born in the Year of the Rooster would greatly benefit from carrying a Magical Cosmic Apple amulet or the Trinity of Apples amulet to have a smoother month.
We also see an increased risk of lung infections for women in the WEST. If this is a concern, place a Healing Herbs & Longevity Wu Lou here for protection.
NORTHEAST (7/4)
Luck in the NE is improved thanks to the No 4 Creativity & Wisdom Star. This inspires creativity and considering things from a new angle. It also helps with making the right decisions. It is a lucky sector for students of all ages and people working in research and literary professions.
To activate, you can place the Manjushri Wisdom Stupa in your NE and carry a Wisdom Pagoda with Scholastic Talisman amulet (this is particularly useful now that school and university/college has just started!).
Please remember the annual No 7 Star though and be careful when spending time here. Check that you have adequate protection from the Royal Elephant & Cosmic Rhino pair or an Anti-Burglary Plaque and keep your guard up. In addition, it would be good to carry an Armoured Rhino & Elephant amulet to help you stay safe.
NORTH (9/6)
The NORTH is another VERY auspicious sector this month, with the No 6 Heaven Star greatly improving the luck here. You can look forward to divine assistance and the kind of luck that will help you fulfil your wishes.
To activate heaven luck, you can hang a Heavenly Star Windchime here.
To energize for wealth and prosperity, you can display the Windfall Luck Activator or Ngan Chee Happy Buddha and carry a Windfall Luck Activator keychain (or place this on your desk).
However, the elements of the two stars clash, which could cause conflicts between the older and younger generations – especially if you live in a NORTH-facing house. If that is the case, display Six Smooth Crystal Balls in your NORTH to restore harmony and reconcile the elements.
NORTHWEST (5/2)
The NW is heavily afflicted unfortunately because the 5/2 combination of stars always spells trouble. There is danger of illness and misfortune for the whole family, as well as trouble at work and money loss. There is also additional risk of injury due to fire and sharp objects. Be extra careful when handling these things.
Those living in NW-facing houses or with bedrooms or (home) office in the NW need to be extra careful. The same goes for the patriarchs and people born in the Years of the Dog or Boar. Do not take your health and personal safety for granted!
Protection is vital and I highly recommend placing a metal Wu Lou and an Emerald Pagoda in your WEST. The group of people mentioned above should also carry an Emerald Pagoda with Om Ah Hum amulet and an Anti-Illness amulet card this month.
