This year, Chinese New Year falls on 16th February 2018. It is the most important date in the Chinese calendar and millions of people will be travelling around that time. In China alone, more than 100 million people will return to their families in the countryside to spend their New Year with them. Chinese people who live abroad return home for this special occasion while others use the time off for a short holiday.
It is a very busy time of the year and good planning is essential.
Let me share the best travel dates for the CNY period 2018, taken from the Feng Shui almanac.
