The No 1 Victory Star flies into the CENTRE, which indicates a strong finish to the year. This is excellent news, as the Victory Star helps to boost success and long-term prosperity luck for everyone. There will be lots of opportunities to get ahead, but – like I always say – it will be up to you to recognize these opportunities and make something out of them!
The luckiest sectors this month are the SE, hosting the No 9 Star of Current Prosperity (and the “Sum of Ten”!), the EAST, NE and NORTH. In the EAST we can enjoy good wealth luck, love and romance in the NE, and heaven luck in the NORTH.
The unfortunate areas are the SOUTH, SW, WEST and NW. Here, strong cures are recommended, especially if your main door or bedroom are located in any of these sectors.
The Flying Stars chart below shows nine fields, each containing two numbers. The big number on the left of each field represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the smaller number on the right represents the current monthly star. These smaller numbers change every month and therefore create new energy patterns in your home and office.
If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, then please use a reliable compass to take the directions. I recommend taking the compass readings as follows:
• Take one compass reading from your main door, looking out.
• Take another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window.
These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.
Please take particular note of the location of your main entrance and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. For those of you who work from home, the location of your home office/work station at home is obviously also important.
SOUTHEAST (1/9)
Luck in the SE remains strong this month, with the No 9 Star bringing wealth, recognition and success. It also forms the “Sum of Ten” with the annual No 1 Victory Star, which brings completion luck. This could help for example with a promotion, a new job offer or signing new clients.
It is a great place to spend more time in this month!
To activate, you can display the Teapot with Completion Horse and a Lucky 9 Enhancer in your SE.
For enhanced wealth luck, you can display the No 9 Wealth Vault instead.
To increase sales and profits in business, you can use 9 Magnificent Horses or a 9-Rod Wealth Abacus.
If your bedroom or main entrance are located in the SE, you can carry a Power of 9 Windfall Amulet to help you harness these fabulous energies. The same goes for people born in the Years of the Dragon or Snake.
SOUTH (6/5)
The No 5 Misfortune Star spreads negative vibes in the SOUTH, which can bring obstacles, accidents, financial loss and relationship problems. Possibly even injuries and illness. Even if you are a strong and healthy person you could feel exhausted or overwhelmed. It is best to keep this sector as quiet as possible.
To counter these misfortune energies, you can display a 5 Element Pagoda (large or small) here.
In addition, you can place a Wu Lou and the Magic Macaw to protect your health and wealth respectively.
If you live in a SOUTH-facing house or in a SOUTH bedroom you might be more prone to these negative energies. As a precaution, you can carry a 5 Element Pagoda Amulet for protection and avoid taking unnecessary risks.
SOUTHWEST (8/7)
The SW suffers from the No 7 Burglary & Loss Star this month, which can lead to people being robbed, scammed, or bad-mouthed at work.
Here, you can place an Anti-Burglary Plaque or a pair of Rhino & Elephant to subdue the loss energy.
To protect your income, you can display a Wealth Cabinet, while the Rooster with Dragon Tortoise can support your continued career success.
Matriarchs and people living in SW-facing homes or bedrooms ought to take extra precaution and carry a Peacock Feather Amulet. This will protect you from hidden enemies. Be careful who you trust!
EAST (9/8)
Wealth luck is strong as the monthly No 8 Wealth Star joins the annual No 9 Star of Current Prosperity. Deals will close smoothly, financial windfalls can arrive suddenly, and your efforts will bear results. There is great happiness and contentment. Don’t waste these opportunities – spend more time here and fill the place with liveliness and activity!
To activate this most auspicious energy, you can display a Mansion of Wealth Dzambhala in your EAST (but not in a bedroom).
To boost business success, display Kuan Kung on horseback in the EAST of your office.
If you are a keen investor, you can display a Sky Bull instead to maximise your resources.
But remember that – now that we are in Period 8 – the No 8 Star can also bring illness and drain your energy. It would be a good idea to place a pair of 5 Blessings Wu Lou in your EAST for protection.
CENTRE (2/1)
The CENTRE is home to the No 1 Victory Star, which brings victory and success luck for everyone, giving us all a chance to end the year on a high! The No 1 Star also brings the luck of future prosperity, so it’s a good time to make plans. It is well worth to enhance this positive Chi to give you a competitive edge over others. In business, new initiatives may take off quickly.

It is best to keep this sector quiet and avoid spending time here.
To calm the aggressive energies, you can display a Pair of Harmony Apples or a Peace Hanging. If your bedroom is in the WEST or your house faces WEST, you ought to carry a Tai Kat Tai Lay Apple Amulet or an Apple Peace Amulet to help protect your relationships.

NORTHEAST (5/4)
Students and people looking for career advancement will benefit from spending more time in the NE this month to harness the No 4 Star, as this will help improve focus, understanding and memory. It also clears mental blocks, helping new ideas to flow easily. The No 4 Star also strengthens relationships and brings love and romance to those who seek it.
To boost study luck, you can display a Scholar with Eagle Mini Plaque in your NE or in the NE of your study room.

NORTH (7/6)

Illness energy arrives in the NW, which is bad news, especially as it pairs up with the annual No 3 Star. This combination is never a good sign, as it can bring illness, accidents, emotional problems and exhaustion. Stress levels could be rising, and you might lose support when you need it most. Not nice to be facing this. Avoid spending too much time here.
To subdue these bad energies, you can display a Pair of Cranes with Peaches and Bamboo or a Red Prosperity Elephant in your NW. Please take extra care if your bedroom or main door is located here and carry a 5 Blessings Wu Lou Amulet.
Elderly people and pregnant ladies should sleep in a different bedroom this month if need be.
