It’s December and Christmas is coming soon! It’s a magical time of the year and with so many twinkling lights around – just look at the gorgeous decorations in the shopping centres and people’s front yards! – it is time for me to write my annual Christmas tree blog.
Twinkling lights are a fabulous energy booster, which you can easily use to boost your Feng Shui and invite good fortune.
Have you decided where you are going to set up your Christmas tree this year? Do you have a designated spot for it or to you like moving things around?
Looking at the Feng Shui energies for December, these are my top 3 Christmas tree placement suggestions for 2025:

- In the SE of your living room (or dining room/family room) – this is one of the most auspicious areas this December with fabulous wealth and success luck, fuelled by the monthly No 9 Star. The No 9 Star belongs to the fire element, so bright lights or twinkling lights are very welcome here!
- In the EAST of your living room – another spot with wealth luck. Although the wealth luck is weak, the lights of the tree and the activity surrounding it will be great boosters!
- In the NORTH of your living room or house – where the Christmas tree can enhance heaven luck, promising unexpected windfalls and good fortune
The SOUTH, SW and NW are home to troublesome stars this December. Hence it would be better NOT to place your Christmas tree there. You do not want to aggravate the dangerous stars.
