The month of November offers a great opportunity to boost your wealth luck, as the No 8 Wealth Star flies into the CENTRE of the chart. Fill this space with wealth enhancers and use it often! Make sure the energy does not stagnate here. Keep your CENTRE bright and active.
Other sectors are lucky too, with the No 9 Star flying into the NW, helping patriarchs and leaders to achieve wealth and success. The No 1 Victory Star flies into the WEST, bringing an advantage in competitive situations, while the No 6 Heaven Star brings mentor luck to the EAST. The NORTH is also very lucky thanks to the Sum-of-Ten created by the 6/4 star combination.
As always, some sectors are less lucky and require some care. The SOUTH is troubled by quarrelsome energies, the SW is afflicted by the No 5 Misfortune Star and the SE suffers from the No 7 Burglary & Loss Star. Illness energy affects the NE, which means those born in the Years of the Ox or Tiger need to be particularly careful. Please read on for the recommended cures and once they are in place, you can focus on the lucky stars!
The Flying Stars chart below shows nine fields, each containing two numbers. The big number on the left of each field represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the smaller number on the right represents the current monthly star. These smaller numbers change every month and therefore create new energy patterns in your home and office.
To apply these monthly stars successfully, you need to map out the compass sectors in your home or office. If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, I recommend you take two compass readings as follows:
• one compass reading from your main door, looking out, and
• another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window.
These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.
Please take particular note of the location of your main entrance door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. For those of you who work from home, the location of your home office/work station at home is obviously also important.
SOUTHEAST (9/7)
The SE is under the influence of the No 7 Burglary & Loss Star this month and needs protection, especially if your main entrance is located here. The No 7 Star brings the danger of robbery, accidents, betrayal and people cheating you. If your bedroom is in the SE or you are born in the Years of the Dragon or Snake, please be wary of new “friends” and cautious about money.
For protection against these loss energies, you can display an Anti-Burglary Plaque or the Active Rhino & Elephant pair.
SOUTH (5/3)
There is aggressive energy in the SOUTH this month, as the No 3 Star brings quarrelsomeness, disputes over money and danger of legal troubles. Those living in SOUTH-facing houses are particularly affected, as well as those who spend a lot of time in the SOUTH. Please be careful as small disagreements can so easily get out of hand.
It is best to keep this area quiet and move noisy activities to other parts of your house.
To counter the aggressive energy, you can hang a Peace Hanging in this space or display Ksiddigarbha’s Fireball & Staff here and make sure you have the annual cures for the No 5 Misfortune Star in place too.
SOUTHWEST (7/5)
The SW is very troubled this month, as the No 5 Misfortune Star joins the annual No 7 Loss Star, bringing danger of financial loss, betrayal and strained relationships. Those with main doors or bedroom in the SW are particularly affected and the matriarch needs to take great care too.
Again, this is an area to best keep quiet this month and avoid spending too much time here.
For protection, you can place a Mini Heart Sutra Pagoda to counter the Misfortune Star and keep the protection against the annual No 7 Star in place.
EAST (8/6)
The No 6 Heaven Star brings wonderful windfall luck and popularity to the EAST, which particularly benefits the eldest son and those born in the Year of the Rabbit. Helpful people will come into your life and unexpected opportunities bring lovely financial rewards. Houses with main doors in the EAST are therefore particularly lucky this month. If your study/home office is in the EAST, you may gain a promotion and recognition for your hard work.
This is a sector where you want to spend more time this month, keep it bright and active to invite its blessings.
To activate for financial windfalls, you can display a Three-legged Toad with Giant Pearl here and carry a Windfall Yantra Amulet.
CENTRE (1/8)
The CENTRE continues to be very lucky this month with the No 8 Prosperity Star joining the annual No 1 Victory Star. However, the No 8 Star needs to be activated to help give your prosperity a boost.
Keep this area lively and bright and display wealth enhancers such as the Sky Bat or a Lap Chun Wealth Tree and carry a Get Rich Immediately Wealth Amulet.
Make sure the energy here does not become stagnant, as too much yin energy can weaken its promising wealth potential.
WEST (3/1)
The No 1 Star brings victory luck to the WEST this month, helping with business opportunities, career advancement and academic achievements. It is a great sector for work and learning this month and houses with main doors or home office/study here will benefit especially.
To activate, you can place the Trinity of Horses in the WEST of your home and/or office, while keeping the Trinity of Apples or red accessories here to quell the quarrelsome energies.
NORTHEAST (4/2)
Those of you who have their bedroom in the NE need to be particularly careful this month. The No 2 Star brings illness and enhances the risk of outsiders interfering with your relationship. Couples who sleep in this area ought to make an effort to show their love and preserve their closeness.
It is best to display the Long Life Vase with LingZhi or a Medicine Buddha to protect your health and keep the area peaceful. In addition, strengthen the love and harmony within your relationship with the Happy Marriage Comb.
Carrying a Rooster Amulet will also help to protect your marriage against infidelity.
NORTH (6/4)
The NORTH is one of the luckiest sectors this month, offering great completion luck and academic success thanks to the stars forming the wonderful “Sum of Ten”. It is a great sector for students, writers and creatives, where helpful people come into your life and relationships strengthen. It is very auspicious if your study or home office is located here!

NORTHWEST (2/9)
The No 9 Wealth Star promises excellent prospects for wealth, success and recognition. Houses with main door in the NW are particularly lucky this month, as they welcome these fabulous energies into their home. If this is your living room or family room, spend more time here!
