For the second month running, we have all four Ho Tu combinations in the chart, adding more positivity to the monthly flying stars. Overall, September is a month full of opportunities and the potential for growth in many areas of life. The Ho Tu combination in the NE brings increased academic success, leadership luck to the NORTH, opportunities to create new wealth in the SOUTH and commercial luck to the SW, which particularly benefits all the fempreneurs!
The SW, NW and NE are the luckiest sectors this month, along with positive influences in the SE.
The No 7 Burglary & Loss Star flies into the CENTRE, bringing the danger of loss and betrayal. However, together with the annual No 3 Star it forms the powerful “Sum of Ten”, helping us all to finish our projects successfully and bring them to a fulfilling conclusion. I can’t wait! I must admit I could do with a bit of cosmic help at the moment.
The Flying Stars chart below shows nine fields, each containing two numbers. The big number on the left of each field represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the smaller number on the right represents the current monthly star. These smaller numbers change every month and therefore create new energy patterns in your home and office.
To apply these monthly stars successfully, you need to map out the compass sectors in your home or office. If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, I recommend you take two compass readings as follows:

one compass reading from your main door, looking out, and
-
another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window.
These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.
Please take particular note of the location of your main entrance door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. For those of you who work from home, the location of your home office/work station at home is obviously also important.
SOUTHEAST (2/6)
There is windfall luck in the SE thanks to the monthly No 6 Heaven Star, which significantly improves the luck of this sector. Those who spend a lot of time in this area stand a good chance to gain recognition and unexpected financial windfalls. Those of you born in the Years of the Dragon or Snake will benefit too and of course everyone who activates this wonderful luck!
You can enhance the positive energy with an image of Namgyalma and the Nobleman Gui Ren Talisman. If you are involved in risky financial ventures, you can carry the “Winning Cards” Windfall Amulet to help you stay on top.
SOUTH (7/2)
The No 2 Illness Star flies into the SOUTH, bringing illness vibes and low energy levels. Luckily, in Period 9 the No 2 Star is losing some of its strength. The good news is, together with the annual No 7 Star we see the “Big Wealth” Ho Tu combination here, which brings fabulous money luck and opportunities for wealth accumulation.
If your bedroom is in the SOUTH, you can place an Abundance Wu Lou on your bedside table and carry the Abundance Wu Lou Amulet when you are out for protection.
If your living room is in this sector, you can place a Pair of Cranes with Bamboo to protect your health and give you energy. To boost the prosperity luck of the “Big Wealth” Ho Tu, you can display a Wealth Bull or one or more Buckets of Gold and Good Fortune together with the Ho Tu Enhancer Mirror to maximise the money luck this month and carry a Big Money Bull Amulet.
SOUTHWEST (9/4)
The SW enjoys wonderful energy this month thanks to the No 4 Star.
To attract love and romance, you can display a pair of Bejewelled Mandarin Ducks or the Double Happiness Vase with Lilies in your SW.
Students of all ages can harness the auspicious energy for studying. Creativity is high this month and will help you with your projects and new ideas. To boost study luck, you can display the Scholar with Eagle Mini Plaque in the SW and carry the Eagle Scholastic Amulet, especially when you sit exams.
In addition, the 9/4 stars form the Ho Tu of Commercial Success, which particularly benefits the matriarch this month. This is great news for all the fempreneurs amongst you, as it promises wonderful success! You can activate this luck with the Ho Tu Enhancer Mirror and by carrying a Ho Tu Amulet.
EAST (1/5)
Misfortune and bad luck lurk in the EAST and everybody who spends a lot of time here needs protection, including people born in the Year of the Rabbit.
It is best to subdue this month’s No 5 Misfortune Star with a White Umbrella Goddess Pagoda in the EAST. In addition, you can carry the amulet version for protection when you are out and about. To suppress illness chi, you can place the Pair of Cranes with Peaches & Bamboo.
People with bedroom in the EAST ought to place an Abundance Wu Lou on their bedside table.
Unfortunately, the elements of the two stars clash, which can lead to arguments. Be prepared and be patient!
CENTRE (3/7)
Despite being home to two negative stars this month, we can still enjoy good luck! The monthly No 7 Robbery & Loss Star requires some precautions but together with the annual No 3 Star it forms the “Sum of Ten”, bringing precious completion luck. This offers wonderful opportunities and can benefit everybody, suggesting projects will be completed successfully and goals can be achieved.
To protect from the No 7 Star, you can display a Door Guardians with Ksitigarbha Staff Plaque in your CENTRE. In addition, it is highly recommended that everybody carries an Elephant & Rhino with Ksitigarbha Staff Amulet this month.
If you wish to enhance the fabulous “Sum of Ten” luck, you can also display a Sum of Ten Activator in your CENTRE space.
WEST (5/9)
The lucky No 9 Star flies into the WEST and brings an enormous wave of good fortune, particularly benefitting the children of the family.
If you wish to increase wealth accumulation and maximise investment success, you can display a Double 9 Plaque in this space.
However, it is very important to control the annual Misfortune Star here, so do check on your White Umbrella Goddess Pagoda and make sure it is still in good condition. The balance of elements is quite delicate this month. Avoid open flames here (i.e. no candles), as this could destabilise the energy and increase the danger of misfortune.
NORTHEAST (6/1)
The NE is one of the luckiest sectors this month, as it is home to two very auspicious stars – the annual No 6 Heaven Star and the monthly No 1 Victory Star. Together, they form the “Intelligence” Ho Tu combination, bringing recognition and promotion luck, and great scholastic success for students.
To activate, you can display a Rooster on Dragon Tortoise and the deity Namgyalma in your NE.
To boost your chances of a financial windfall, you can carry a Windfall Luck Amulet.

Spend more time in your NE this month!
NORTH (8/3)
There is slight trouble brewing in the NORTH, but you can deal with it if you are prepared! The quarrelsome No 3 Star will bring conflict energies this month, making people more argumentative and causing disagreements. The clashing elements of the two stars might cause additional stress.
To calm things down, you can display the 3 Harmony Animals here and carry a 3 Harmony Animals amulet. Fire energy or a Happy Laughing Buddha will also help to keep the peace.
Having said that, we do have another Ho Tu combination here: the Ho Tu of Leadership. This particularly benefits people born in the Year of the Rat and those with (home) office in the NORTH. Activate with the Ho Tu Activator Mirror and help transform the conflict energies into good fortune.
NORTHWEST (4/8)
The NW remains very lucky this month, bringing wonderful good fortune to the patriarch and those spending a lot of time here. You can look forward to financial success and good wealth luck.
To activate, display a Water Wave with Purple Pearl or an Azure Dragon here. People in research or media professions will do particularly well this month. BUT there is a risk that the father could get overworked and fall ill. As a precaution and for protection, it would be good to display an Abundance Wu Lou on his bedside table this month.
The stars also bring plenty of romance vibes. If you are looking for love, carry a Padlock of Love Amulet and display a pair of Bejewelled Mandarin Ducks in your NW. This can also be the NW of your bedroom.
