7th November – 6th December 2023
The No 8 Wealth Star flies into the CENTRE this month, promising good times for everybody and new opportunities to make money. In addition, we can enjoy Ho Tu luck again in four new sectors, completion luck in the SE and heaven luck in the EAST!
The NW and SW are afflicted by the No 5 Misfortune Star and remedies are needed. This will affect both the patriarchs and matriarchs, so please take care and read on for the full update.
The Flying Stars chart below shows nine fields, each containing two numbers. The big number on the left of each field represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the smaller number on the right represents the current monthly star. These smaller numbers change every month and therefore create new energy patterns in your home and office.
To apply these monthly stars successfully, you need to map out the compass sectors in your home or office. If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, I recommend you take two compass readings as follows:
- one compass reading from your main door, looking out, and
- another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window
These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.
Please take particular note of the location of your main entrance door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. For those of you who work from home, the location of your home office/work station at home is obviously also important.
SOUTHEAST (3/7)
The No 7 Robbery & Loss Star flies into the SE this month, increasing the danger of burglary, robbery and loss. If you are born in the Years of the Dragon or Snake, or your bedroom or main door is located in the SE, then you ought to be extra careful when it comes to money matters and personal safety.
Try to avoid staying out late and protect your SE with an Anti-Burglary Plaque or – for smaller SE spaces – an Anti-Burglary Lumi Tile. In addition, carry an Armoured Rhino & Elephant amulet when you are out and about. Keep this space as quiet as possible.
The good news is that the two stars form the most auspicious “Sum of Ten”, bringing you good energies that will help you finish your tasks and your projects. You can activate this by placing a Completion Horse or a Sum of Ten amulet here. Of course, you can also carry the Sum of Ten amulet when you go out.
SOUTH (8/3)
The SOUTH offers great leadership luck this month thanks to the 3/8 Ho Tu combination of stars. Anyone can activate this type of luck, but it is particularly useful for those of you who are in a position of leadership or management.
To enhance this fabulous energy, you can place a Ho Tu Enhancer Mirror in your SOUTH (but not in a bedroom) or in the SOUTH of your (home) office and/or carry the To Tu amulet.
If your home faces SOUTH or your bedroom is in the SOUTH, you can also wear a Ru Yi Dzi Bead with Red Jasper bracelet to boost your career luck.
Please be aware of the monthly No 3 Star though, which brings aggression and conflicts. Keep this area quiet and subdue the quarrelsome energy with the Trinity of Apples or some red accessories placed in your SOUTH. Those staying here can also carry a Magical Cosmic Apple amulet to help keep them calm.
Married couples with SOUTH bedrooms would benefit from displaying the Marriage Lock or a Happy Marriage Comb in the SOUTH to keep their loving bond strong and counter angry feelings.
SOUTHWEST (1/5)
The No 5 Misfortune Star can cause serious trouble in the SW, affecting many people: those with main doors or bedrooms in the SW, people living in SW-facing houses, those born in the Years of the Sheep or Monkey, and also the matriarchs. You might suffer accidents, injuries, or other types of misfortune, or incur unexpected expenses. It is better not to spend too much time here this month and avoid carrying out any renovations here.
To suppress the No 5 Star, you can display an Emerald Pagoda in your SW and carry a 28 Hums Protection amulet.
To subdue the danger of illness, you can place a metal Wu Lou here.
In addition, you can display a Red Prosperity Elephant to symbolize always having enough money and helpful friends to help you overcome whatever obstacles may block your path.
EAST (2/6)
The arrival of the No 6 Heaven Star is wonderful news for the EAST, where you can activate it for career advancement and business success. The No 6 Star brings new mentors or benefactors, new opportunities and increased wealth and windfall luck.
You can activate this fabulous energy with the Rising Golden Dragon Holding a Pearl, the Nobleman Gui Ren Talisman and the Windfall Luck Activator placed in your EAST. In addition, you can carry a Nobleman Star Talisman amulet to attract mentors or benefactors and/or a Windfall Luck amulet.
If you would like to boost your recognition luck at work, you can do so by displaying a Dragon Tortoise Ru Yi in the EAST of your office.
If you would like to grow your business, you can display a Water Obsidian Dragon Tortoise instead.
Remember the annual Illness Star though and make sure you have a Healing Herbs & Longevity Wu Lou or a plain metal Wu Lou in your EAST to protect your health.
CENTRE (4/8)
The CENTRE continues to enjoy great good luck with the Prosperity Star making an appearance here this month. This will bring increased money, windfall and investment luck for EVERYONE, as well as improved success and profits. Do take advantage of these auspicious energies! Spend more time here and keep this area active.
You can activate this with a figure of Choy San, the Wealth God, and 3 Sheep on a Mountain. In addition, there is a 3 Sheep on a Mountain amulet you can carry to invite this wonderful luck into your life wherever you go.
You can place a Sky Porcupine on your desk to help you make the most of the opportunities coming your way and carry a wealth amulet. Students who wish to boost their academic success can also use these energies and carry a Wisdom Pagoda with Scholastic Talisman amulet or a Talent Star Activator amulet (or place one of these on their study desk).
WEST (6/1)
The WEST is another most auspicious sector, as the 6/1 stars form the Intellectual Ho Tu combination, which enhances brainpower and intelligence and gives you a competitive edge. This will make it easier to achieve success in situations like winning a contract, getting a promotion, or a successful job application. If this is what you aspire, then you want to spend as much time as you can in the WEST sector of your house.
In addition, you can display a Victory Flag and a Golden Chi Lin here and carry a Joyous Wind Horse amulet and a Ho Tu Enhancer amulet.
The WEST is also an excellent area for students to do their studying this month and displaying a Dragon Carp to activate academic success.
NORTHEAST (7/2)
The NE is home to another auspicious Ho Tu combination promising money luck in the form of a financial windfall or improvement in your cash flow.
To boost this type of luck, you can place a Ho Tu Enhancer Mirror and a Big Money Bull in your NE.
If your house or your main entrance faces NE, or your bedroom is located in the NE, you can carry a Ho Tu Enhancer amulet and a Big Money Bull amulet to further harness these lucky vibes. The same applies to those born in the Years of the Ox or Tiger.
Please be aware though that the monthly No 2 Star also brings illness energies and those people mentioned above should carry an Anti-Illness Amulet Card. It would be good if elderly people could sleep in a different bedroom this month.
NORTH (9/4)
Love and romance vibes are high in the NORTH thanks to the monthly No 4 Star, which is enhanced even further by the annual No 9 Power Star!
If you are looking for love, you can boost the chances of finding that special person by placing a Romance Comb here.
At work, the No 4 Star helps with harmonious teamwork. Your ideas will be appreciated. If you would like to give your career luck a boost, you can display the Cardinal Connectivity Activator and a Manjushri Plaque in the NORTH of your office. Activating your astrological friends and allies will also be very effective.
If your bedroom or main door is located in the NORTH or you are born in the Year of the Rat, you can carry a Talent Star Activator amulet to gain recognition for your work.
Together, the 9/4 stars form the Ho Tu combination that brings business success and you can activate this with a Golden Chi Lin, supported with one of the Lunar Mansions amulets.
NORTHWEST (5/9)
The NW is severely afflicted this month with the No 9 Multiplying Star magnifying the annual Misfortune Star. This brings great danger to the patriarch and people born in the Years of the Dog or Boar, which can show itself as illness, financial loss, obstacles or conflict. Strong cures are a must this month.
Make sure you have an Emerald Pagoda in your NW and keep this area quiet. The patriarchs amongst you, as well as those with bedroom or main door in the NW, should also carry an Emerald Pagoda amulet with Om Ah Hum and keep a mini pagoda on their work desk.
In addition, it would be wise to place a metal Wu Lou to safeguard your health and invite the Three Friends of Winter with Deer as a symbol to overcome adversity and emerge stronger than before.
You also want to protect your wealth and assets by carrying a Wealth Lock amulet.
